Part I: An Aspiring Journalist's Move to New York →

so I'm wondering...
now that I’m a post-grad and semi-professional and I have people other than just my weird friends (read: potential clients/employers) calling me, how the hell do I answer my cell phone. A simple “Hello?” somehow seems too casual. Do I just pick up the phone and drop my name? Ring, Ring…“Caitlin Bradley speaking” or Ring, Ring…“This is Caitlin”

Since I last wrote about my friend Joey Thompson and his “How to Look Like Ryan Gosling” video, I’ve become his publicist.

Anyway, it’s pretty exciting stuff. A national radio show in Dallas called KiddNation flew him down to Texas for an interview and he’s been bopping around to the Lakers game and a penthouse in Ryan attire. He’s still campaigning...

New York, New York...Watch Out Malia! →
Just found out, via a Skype date with my mother, that I got accepted into the CUNY grad program. It’s not my first choice, but it does mean that I’ll be going SOMEWHERE! Thank goodness. I’m not even done applying to all my potential schools yet, but it’s really nice to get accepted to the 1st one I’ve heard back from. Will keep you all updated on my future decisions....
