I tumblr to you from the backseat! Thanks iPhone! I’m actually on my way to mardi gras with my mom and my aunt. (loll, right?!)

I literally finished my two week string of all nighters by submitting my last grad school application and hastily packing a suitcase to leave for New Orleans. My aunt has a property from when she used to live there and she’s determined to show us the how to mardi gras with the best of em!! (she’s already admitted to being a “bead ho”).

I’m pretty excited to be visiting a new city (even if it is with two ladies over 55). I’m also pretty sure well be getting into some hilarious situations. is this already a plot for a new-age comedy blockbuster? Because it should be.
