You can wade into the calcite pools that scale the side of a hill in Pamukkale. It’s one of every tourist’s destination in Turkey, but we managed to hit the jackpot by going on an early-February morning.
1. no one was there
2. no one was there to spill out of their bikini/speedo and ruin photos
3. the air was cold, but our feet were delightfully warm in the thermal waters
4. Did I mention no one was there?
