4 ex-students dealing with the real world

It’s amazing how easy it is to take a city for granted. When you’ve lived somewhere your whole life, you live the day-to-day without any real appreciation for what’s around you. Nothing’s new, everything’s familiar and everyone’s an old friend.

After 23 years of living in South Carolina (with a few months scattered overseas and far, far west), I’m getting really freaking nostalgic about my last summer here.

The thing is, no matter where you are, there are always people around looking for an adventure. There are always corners of your city that have remained unexplored, opportunities that have not been taken, and fun that has not yet been had.

Seize it.
